"Heartlines wants to inspire and support one million people to share their stories. There is magic in getting to know each others’ stories and YOU can help us create that magic in South Africa! Heartlines is a social change organisation that encourages people to live out positive values. Our mission is to get you thinking about your values – and empower you to live them out. Our projects and multimedia initiatives have reached over 22 million people across South Africa, and beyond our borders.
We have produced 11 feature films, one six-part TV series and scores of short videos. These films are supporting by resources aimed at starting conversations around values, in homes, workplaces, faith groups, schools and other sectors of society. A number of our values-based films have won awards.
Heartlines was established in 2002 by Dr Garth Japhet, the founder of Soul City and also an Ashoka and World Economic Forum fellow."
