Aligned with Time Square’s focus on showcasing female entertainment talent during Women’s Month, Guy Fieri’s Kitchen and Bar will be hosting Pretoria’s own Adelle Nqeto on its stage on Wednesday nights throughout the month. She will entertain guests from 19h01 to 22h01 with a wide array of original material and covers.
The singer songwriter was formerly part of the duo Flint which played all the major national festivals including Oppikoppi, Rocking the Daisies and Splashy Fen between 2012 and 2015. In 2013, Nqeto crossed paths with Jeremy Loops, who featured her on his album Trading Change, which was released in 2015. She then decided to take a leap and start a solo project. She’s since played many local venues, and festivals including Mieliepop, Splashy Fen, and Lush festivals in 2016. Her first single “Make Something Beautiful” was released in October 2016, with her debut EP titled Lightsreleased this year.
While enjoying Nqeto’s performances, guests can tuck into Guy Fieri’s off-the-hook, scratch-made food, signature craft beers and cocktails before hitting the dance floor or riding the mechanical bull – which incidentally is the first ever mechanical bull in a Guy Fieri restaurant.
