Undoubtedly one of South Africa’s most lively, attention capturing artists, Goodwill Malinga, better known by his stage name, Dr Malinga, is ready to hit the stage at Carousel’s Cheyenne Saloon at the end of September.
Dr Malinga, who was born in Hammanskraal, now owns his own record label called Linga Entertainment. In July, the confident Malinga awarded himself the “song of the year award”, after being dissatisfied that he did not win this at the Metro FM Awards. The “Akulaleki” hit maker held an awards ceremony at Linga Entertainment’s office where he awarded several employees and then claimed the big prize himself.
His colourful and somewhat different attire, crazy leg moves and endless energy on stage are enough to get fans hooked on Dr Malinga’s exhilarating performances he has become so acclaimed for.
“We are excited about hosting this eccentric and eclectic perfromer at The Cheyenne Saloon,” says Rosa Naudé-Potgieter, PR & Promotions Manager at The Carousel.
Be sure to get down and party with Malinga at Carousel on 30 September Doors of the Cheyenne Saloon are flung open at 19h00 and the show starts at 21h00. Tickets cost R80 per person and are available from Computicket.
