Winter holidays turn from grey to colourful at GrandWest where there is a kaleidoscope of choice of entertainment for young people from 30 June 2017 to 23 July 2017. GrandWest’s multipurpose events venue, Sun Park will be transformed into Fun Park – a vibrant playground with thrilling rides and activities to enjoy. Amongst the rides to try during the holidays are theSpiral Jet, Ferris Wheel, Swings, Horse and Aeroplane Rides, Dizzy Barrels, the Aeroplane Carousel, Barrel Swings, Toy Ride, Bungee Trampolines, Space Gyro, Pedal Go Karts and a Parachute Simulator. Fun Park will be open daily from 11h00 to 18h00 (weather permitting). Entrance to Fun Park is free and the cost per ride is R20.
Another experience not to be missed in July 2017 is The Wonderful World of Disney On Ice, featuring an extraordinary lineup of Disney stories which are brought to life with beautiful costumes, choreography and music. The spellbinding ice spectacle runs at the Grand Arena from 19 to 23 July 2017. Tickets, including family packages, can be booked at Computicket.
Other family friendly activities to enjoy at GrandWest include Magic Bowling, ice skating at The Ice Station, Magic Arcade games, Laser Tag and the latest movies at Nu Metro.
