BluBird Entertainment : The TOPS at SPAR Wine Show: WINEderland!

On Saturday the 28^th of May I had the opportunity to attend the TOPS at SPAR Wine Show, at Monte Casino. It was a wine filled WINEderland. The theme was a carnival wonderland, with a play on the use of the word. From start to finish the wine show was exquisitely put together, classy, fun and the variety was exceptional.

THE BEGINNING.

The show started off with registration where each person received a TOPS branded wine glass and a SPAR shopping bag (the material kind). This was very exciting because I am definitely the type of person who loves to have mementos and souvenirs from events, so that was a major plus for me. Then you walk into an enclosed area filled with stalls of all the different wine connoisseurs, people doing carnival tricks and a bunch of excited wine drinkers. Then you walk outside and there are more wine stalls, some delicious food stands and a fantastic vibe that filled the air. Back to the glasses, you could take you awesome glasses, go to each stall and taste all the wines that were available. This could have been a dangerous activity if I decided to try more than I had, everything was so good, but then the next thing you know I could have plopsed over. HEHE… Just kidding.

THE MIDDLE

I had a lot of fun going around to all the different stalls learning more about the different kinds of wine that are out there that I admittedly didn’t know. So not only was it a great tasting experience but it was great learning experience as well. One of my favourite stall was the wine and Lindt pairing. I LOVE LOVE LOVE chocolate so that was a plus, but surprisingly the pairing worked well together and I really enjoyed it. Another of my favourites was the “scientific” stall with the wine infused drinks that tasted like coldrink we absolutely devine!!!

THE END

We ended up at the tasting theatre which was very informative. Overall we had an amazing time and I thought the event was amazingly put together. I would 100%promote and attend this event again. The theatrics, the variety and the people were amazing. There is very little actually almost nothing I could critique or have a negative comment about.
