South Africa has most technologically advanced casino, Time Square in Menlyn, this month launches its first grand scale gaming promotion, Play the Future, with over R3.4 Million in cash and cars to be won before the end of August 2017.
The Time Square casino, spanning 7 530 square metres on two levels, opened to the public on 1 April 2017, boasting 2 000 slot machines and 60 tables. The casino is unprecedented in South Africa, with specialty products never seen before in the country; some of which are exclusive to Sun International.

Play the Future is a racy, multiple level promotion that offers numerous chances to win in draws taking place over the next 13 weeks. To be part of this promotion at Time Square, Sun MVG members simply have to earn points playing their favourite slots or table games. Points can be used for tickets to the draws. Non- members can join the loyalty programme at any time to join in the fun and will any of these amazing prizes.
Weekly draws will take place every Wednesday night at 20h00, from 7 June onwards. Participants stand a chance of winning a share of R50 000 in cash on the first three Wednesdays of the month, or a brand new car on the last Wednesday of each month during the promotion period. To qualify for these draws, guests must earn five casino points in the previous seven days (Wednesday to Tuesday).
There are more chances to win big with Play the Future in the Bi-Weekly draws which will be staged in the casino’s Sun Lounge every second Friday night at 20h00 when there will be R70 000 cash up for grabs. In addition to the cash draws, there will be a car draws on 14 July and 25 August. Each car is valued at over R350 000. To be eligible for the Bi-Weekly draws, guests must earn at least 12 casino points in the two weeks preceding the draws.
Play the Future revs up a notch on 15 July when there is a prize bounty of R250 000 in cash for the taking. The promotion culminates on 26 August with the final draw for a car worth R700 000, as well as R150 000 in cash. To qualify for a ticket to these top end draws, guests must have earned a minimum of 115 casino points from 1 June.
