Craig du Toit Nel is outspoken

If you are a fan of Craig du Toit Nel, best you buckle up and prepare for a rollercoaster ride of unstoppable laughter as he brings to The Rockwood Theatre at Sibaya his all-new show, Uitgesproke, on 24 April.

As blunt as they come, this overnight internet-sensation has a fan base of over 140 000 (and ever growing) on social media and has had audiences rolling on the floor with laughter at his shows.

It all started with a video Craig made about overseas models who eat cotton wool soaked in lemon juice to suppress their appetite and lose weight. In the video, Craig tried this method and in his naturally hilarious way had the few close friends he had sent the video to in stitches. The video was passed on and placed on Facebook and overnight, after having entertained thousands of people, Craig the comedian was born.
Despite his smooth, shiny bottle blonde hair and perfectly straight white teeth now, Craig was also an overweight teenager who weighed over 125kg. He used to joke a lot growing up and says he would make fun of himself before other people could.

"When I shed the weight, the humour stayed behind," he jokes.
Craig says that he does not think of new jokes to tell daily. Instead, he speaks of relevant, everyday topics such as marriage, people inviting you over for a braai, bedroom stories and pretty much anything from blusher to annoying posts on social media and anything else that excites, makes him laughs or works on his nerves.

Don’t miss this hilariously shameless, laugh-a-minute show by Craig du Toit Nel at Rockwood Theatre. Tickets cost R150 per person and can be booked at www.rockwoodtheatre.co.za or 031 010 6444
