+LIVE+ in Concert at Time Square In PTA

Friday and Saturday saw the much loved band +LIVE+ come to Pretoria and rick out for fans. Just last week I wait anxiously for the day to finally arrive to see a band I had so deeply admired for so long. The day finally arrived, and boy was it worth the wait.

The opening act began at 8pm and by 8:45pm they were done and +LIVE+ came on at 9pm. They played for their fans for more than 2 hours straight. I was so amazed by this because most concert goers only expect the people that they have spent so much money to see, only play for an hour if you are lucky. This was not the case for +LIVE+ fans. They played and played and rocked out and calmed it down and then rocked out again. They played all the fans favorites, much older songs, classics and some songs people may have not known. It was so refreshing and amazing. It was great, the band was not late, they didn't keep the crowd waiting like typical performers now days ( which seems to have become the norm unfortunately), they were just so amped, kept the energy going the entire time, and just had a complete jol. ( South African word for having a blast).

My absolute favorite was when they played Lightning Crashes at the very end. I think that everyone was waiting for that song, because that is many people's favorite. WOW it was AMAZING, it was is exactly what we wanted. I stood there, and felt every emotion, every person feeling the music, people consuming the music with their loved ones, you could see that this song held so many memories for so many people. That's what I loved, that the music brought so many together, you could see that this band meant something so much more to people. Their music had gotten people through things in their lives, they got them through pain, there for the joy and supporting the love, with a bit of activism as well.

If you missed this show, you missed out BIG time. I have a few clips just to show you how amazing they were. I feel so honored to have been apart of such an amazing experience, that I will cherish forever. Not many people can come onto stage and unite complete strangers the way they did.
