CELL C’s OFFICIAL WELCOME HOME FOR MISS UNIVERSE




Miss Universe 2017 Demi-Leigh Nel-Peters will be welcomed back to the country by Miss South Africa Adè van Heerden and a host of former Miss SA title holders at a special function taking place at the Cell C Connect Centre, Waterfall Campus ... and everyone is invited!
The event – which will be hosted by Miss South Africa 2017 judge and television personality Maps Maponyane – takes place on Wednesday, January 24 from 16h00 to 17h30.
Cell C has been the proud headline sponsor of Miss South Africa since 2014 and it has been an exceptional four years with two international title winners – a Miss World (Rolene Strauss, Miss South Africa 2014) and a Miss Universe.
Joining Demi-Leigh will be Dr Adè van Heerden (2017); Liesl Laurie (2015); Marilyn Ramos (2012); Bokang Montjane (2010); Tansey Coetzee (2007); Joan Ramagosi (2003); Kerishnie Naicker (1997); Bernelee Daniel (1995); Suzette van der Merwe (1990); Lorna Potgieter (1984); Yolanda Kloppers (1978); Andrea Stelzer (1985) and Odette Scrooby (1982).
Says Van Heerden: “I was overjoyed when Demi was crowned Miss Universe. She worked incredibly hard to make her dream a reality and I am elated to have the opportunity to celebrate this victory with her and former Miss SA title holders at Cell C.”
Also present will be Demi-Leigh’s parents – Bennie and Elzabé Peters and Anne-Mari and Johan Steenkamp – joined by representatives from Cell C, and Sun International, on behalf of the Miss South Africa Organisation.

The public will have the opportunity to have their picture taken with Demi-Leigh and are encouraged to post it on social media with the hashtag #CellCMUHomecoming to stand the chance of winning 100GB of data from Cell C.
The Cell C Connect Centre Waterfall Campus is situated on the corner of Pretoria Main Road and Maxwell Drive in Buccleuch.
