Sasha-Lee Davids is Breaking Free at GrandWest

Cape Town born and raised songstress, Sasha-Lee Davids, will light up the stage at the Grand Arena when she brings her show, Breaking Free, to GrandWest on 10 June 2017. Collaborating with her for this one night only concert are Nur Abrahams, James Bhemgee and Celeste Schoeman amongst others.

Breaking Free, under the musical direction of Donveno Prins and produced by Alistair Izobell, serves as a reminder of Davids’ musical journey from SA Idols to becoming a successful artist in her own right. The show was a sellout success during its run at the Baxter Theatre in Cape Town in April 2017.

“We are delighted to host Sasha-Lee Davids on our stage and offer her fans another chance to see Breaking Free,” says Elouise Matthys, the PR and Promotions Manager at GrandWest.
Davids first became a household name during the 2009 edition of SA Idols in which she was a co winner. Shortly after that, she released her debut album, Sasha-Lee. Since then, she has carved a niche for herself in the South African entertainment industry. She has had the opportunity to work with Jamie Jones, lead singer of the Grammy Award winning group All-4-One, on a track entitled, “Before You” and she recently performed in a variety of shows including Divas, Duets and Kaapse Jolamongst others. Davids is currently working on a new album and recently released a single “Forever Yours”.
Tickets to Breaking Free at the Grand Arena are on sale at Computicket, ranging in price from R80 per person.
