A new world awaits with Starbucks and their new innovation
Friday the 12th of May saw Starbucks launch their exclusive Starbucks Espresso Capsules compatible with Nespresso® machines* in South Africa, for anyone and everyone to enjoy at home. We were lucky enough to have an exclusive tasting of these delightful new capsules. Let me tell you, they were amazing.
I personally think it’s fantastic that Starbuck South Africa
is so driven by customer care and to improve customer’s experience that they
bring us the most amazing products along with services that are hard to find
anywhere else. For example, service with a smile is far and few between, but whenever
I’ve been to Starbucks, Rosebank or Pretoria, they have been friendly, happy
and excited to meet help you.
Back to the new product, its compatible with Nespresso
machines only, but luckily for you, I have you covered. I myself have a Dolce
Gusto, but @Home sell converters for coffee machines…GENIOUS!!! So now anyone
who has a coffee machine that takes pods or capsules can now enjoy the smooth,
rich taste of Starbucks Capsules.
” The new espresso capsules will be available in Starbucks
stores in Johannesburg and Pretoria from 12 May. Coffee lovers will now have
the opportunity to enjoy the same delicious coffee at home as they do in store,
with a range of four Starbucks espressos. Starbucks Espresso Capsules are made
from only the finest Arabica coffees and the range includes classic Espresso
Roast, Colombia, Kenya, and Guatemala Antigua priced at R95.00 for
a pack of 10 capsules.”
“The introduction of the range also coincides with the
introduction of a recycling programme for the capsules. Starbucks South Africa
have partnered with Waste Plan, a national on-site waste management company
that specialises in recycling and the reduction of waste to landfill.”
I love the fact that you can recycle the pods to, which is
so environmentally friendly it’s brilliant. Also if you are a part of the
Rewards Program you can get 10 extra stars for bringing the capsules back to a
Starbucks to recycle properly.
