Scotch & Soda’s FW18 collection is a celebration of the label’s natural born explorer spirit:
one of free-thinking, openness and passionate curiosity. Drawn to the beauty of
Amsterdam’s grand Shipping House – created as a monument to global exploration just
over a century ago - the designers dived into the nautical themes and characters from this
golden age of discovery. Twisting traditional maritime cues and reinventing print and
pattern from ocean voyages - the brand presents a rich, colourful collection for a new age
of explorers. A collection for Amsterdammers, from everywhere.
Scotch & Soda are inspired by the world and curated by Amsterdam. A team of passionate
discoverers and collectors, scouring the globe for that painting, poem, vintage piece, ruin,
or artefact that sparks our never-ending curiosity. Treasures uncovered on worldly
wanders are poured into collections and signature looks that clash eras, classics, places
of inspiration, meshing unexpected fabrics and patterns. Our collections all start life at
our canal-side design studio in a former church in the heart of Amsterdam.
You can find a Scotch & Soda store in the Victoria Wharf Shopping Centre in Cape Town,
