hosted a special event that had many listeners sitting on the edge of their
seats on the way to work this morning. Together with the Owl Rescue Centre, Hot
91.1Fm drew and announced the winner of the most beautiful Ford Mustang.
Sasha Martinengo and Joburg’s Hottest Breakfast team changed the life of one lucky listener on the morning of love (14 Feb). The winning ticket was drawn live outside the Hot House in Northriding. Peet Kuhn, the lucky winner, was speechless when he was called with the good news and told us he had purchased only one ticket the night before, never giving it a thought that he would actually win. Peet who is a speed and motor fanatic, an avid Hot 91.9fm listener and who even has a beautiful grey spotted owl in his garden, was the perfect winner for the 2018 Ford Mustang 5.0L V8.
Proceeds raised from the competition, which sold over 6 000 tickets, went directly to the Owl Rescue Centre, a non- profit organisation dedicated to the protection of owls and other birds of prey in South Africa. Hot 91.9fm Managing Director, Lloyd Madurai, enthused “We were very happy with the response from our generous audience who are always supportive of our initiatives. In keeping with our passionate commitment to the community that we serve, we are proud to be able to assist in the protection of our wildlife”.
